If the door of your Mamava pod is shutting too quickly or too slowly this article will help you adjust it.
XL V6 pods
Tools required:
- Step ladder
- Flat head screwdriver
- Access the pod by entering 8008# on the keypad.
- Place the step ladder inside the pod in the center of the floor.
- Remove the center roof panel by lifting straight up.
- Access the adjustment screws on the door closer by inserting a flathead screwdriver through the holes in the right roof beam.
- The lower screw (marked with a “2”) adjusts the closing speed. Rotate clockwise to decrease the door closure speed, and counterclockwise to increase the door closure speed.
- The upper screw (marked with a “1”) adjusts the latching speed. Rotate clockwise to decrease the door latching speed, and counterclockwise to increase the door latching speed.
XL V5, Original, Solo V1.1 pods
Tools required:
- Step ladder
- Flat head screwdriver
Use a flat screwdriver to adjust the closing speed screw on the end of the closer body (the lower screw, marked with a “2”). Rotate clockwise to decrease the closing speed, and counterclockwise to increase the closing speed.
The upper screw (marked with a “1”) adjusts the latching speed. Rotate clockwise to decrease the latching speed, and counterclockwise to increase the latching speed.
Solo V2.0, V2.1, and V2.2 pods
Tools required:
- Step ladder
- 5/32" hex key
To increase the door closure speed, close the door, insert the 5/32” hex key in the top of the hinge and rotate clockwise. Do not exceed 6 ratchet “clicks”.
To decrease the door closure speed, close the door and insert a 5/32" hex key in the top of the hinge. Press down firmly to disengage the ratchet. Let the hex key rotate counter-clockwise to the new setting. Allow the wrench to rise when complete.
Flex V1.0 pods
Tools required:
- Step ladder
- 5/32" hex key
To increase the door closure speed, close the door, insert the 5/32” hex key in the top of the hinge and rotate clockwise. Do not exceed 6 ratchet “clicks".
To decrease the door closure speed, close the door and insert a 5/32" hex key in the top of the hinge. Press down firmly to disengage the ratchet. Let the hex key rotate counter-clockwise to the new setting. Allow the wrench to rise when complete.
