How do I know if I need a new lock battery?
If you experience any of the following on your keypad, odds are you’ll need to replace the battery:
- There’s a delay between code entry and unlocking
- The keypad won’t unlock the door
- The keypad numbers don’t light up when pressed
- For Schlage locks (raised keypad buttons):
- Button alternates between green or red
- Button is blinking red
- For Linnea locks (with touchscreen keypad):
- Keypad flickers
- Keypad lights up but is hard to read
- The beeps when keypad numbers are touched are soft or make no sound
- You have a Version 3.3 Mamava pod or older (serial number 768 and below)
