How do I know if I need a new lock battery?

If you experience any of the following on your keypad, odds are you’ll need to replace the battery:

  • There’s a delay between code entry and unlocking
  • The keypad won’t unlock the door
    • The keypad numbers don’t light up when pressed
  • For Schlage locks (raised keypad buttons): 
    • Button alternates between green or red
    • Button is blinking red 
  • For Linnea locks (with touchscreen keypad): 
    • Keypad flickers 
    • Keypad lights up but is hard to read 
    • The beeps when keypad numbers are touched are soft or make no sound 
  • You have a Version 3.3 Mamava pod or older (serial number 768 and below)
