You’ll need to realign your pod door if it isn't closing properly and the deadbolt doesn't latch. But other issues—like uneven gaps around the door or a door rubbing against the door frame—also indicate that your pod door isn’t properly aligned.
Tools Required
- Adjustable wrench (up to 17 mm)
Optional
- Light working gloves are recommended as some of the edges are sharp
Step 1: Access the leveling feet under the pod
Step 2: Use the adjustable wrench to loosen the nut by turning it counterclockwise.
Step 3: Use the wrench on the flats located right above the foot to move the whole foot assembly up or down, as needed, to level the pod wall.
Step 4: When the foot is in its desired location, use the wrench to tighten the nut up to the bottom of the floor pan to secure it.
Step 5: Repeat on as many feet as necessary.
Step 6: Checking the door
- Open and close the door to ensure it swings easily and seats correctly in the door jamb.
- Lock the deadbolt and make sure there’s no friction
- Make sure any gaps around the door are all even.
- Check the door to see if there’s any rubbing against the door jamb.
