How do I realign the door on a Solo V2.0, V2.1, or V2.2 pod?

You’ll need to realign your pod door if it isn't closing properly and the deadbolt doesn't latch. But other issues—like uneven gaps around the door or a door rubbing against the door frame—also indicate that your pod door isn’t properly aligned.

Tools Required

  • Adjustable wrench (up to 17 mm)

Optional

  • Light working gloves are recommended as some of the edges are sharp

Step 1: Access the leveling feet under the pod

Step 2: Use the adjustable wrench to loosen the nut by turning it counterclockwise.

Step 3: Use the wrench on the flats located right above the foot to move the whole foot assembly up or down, as needed, to level the pod wall.

Step 4: When the foot is in its desired location, use the wrench to tighten the nut up to the bottom of the floor pan to secure it.

Step 5: Repeat on as many feet as necessary.

Step 6: Checking the door

  • Open and close the door to ensure it swings easily and seats correctly in the door jamb.
  • Lock the deadbolt and make sure there’s no friction
  • Make sure any gaps around the door are all even.
  • Check the door to see if there’s any rubbing against the door jamb.
