Sometimes the Mamava app doesn’t match what’s happening in real life. In this article, we cover what to do when the pod’s occupancy status is not updating correctly on the Mamava app.
The first thing you’ll want to check is whether the door lock is syncing correctly by measuring the voltage of the door contact switches.
Tools required
- Multimeter (capable of measuring a minimum of 100VDC)
Instructions
- Place the meter directly on the pin on the inside of the door hinge to measure the voltage. First measure with the red meter lead on top and the black in the center. The top and center pin should read around 11.4 VDC. (See figure below left.)
- Then move the red meter lead to the very bottom and leave the black on the center. (See figure below right.) This should read about 3.2 VDC.
If the voltage reading is abnormal—either too high or too low— let us know using the form below so we send you a replacement part and coordinate delivery.
