What is ETL certified and why should I care?

Products with an ETL (Edison Testing Laboratory) mark of certification have been tested by an independent, third-party Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) recognized by OSHA and comply with national safety standards.

The ETL Mark means that our pods have been tested and certified to be in compliance with set safety standards. The mark also indicates that our production sites meet a range of compliance measures and are subject to periodic follow-up inspections to verify continued compliance.

Mamava Original and XL V5 pods are both ETL certified to UL Standard 1286 and CSA Standard C22.2#203 in the United States and Canada. Mamava Flex pods are ETL certified to UL Standard 962 and CSA Standard C22.2#203 in the United States and Canada. Mamava Solo V2.2 pods are ETL certified to UL Standard 962 and CSA Standard C22.2#203:16 in the United States and Canada. ETL is an OSHA-recognized Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) in the United States and as a Testing Organization and Certifying Body in Canada by the Standards Council of Canada.
